CL Final Preview

Phewwwph. Less than 24 hours before kick off and I can already feel the blood in my veins pumping. Tomorrow is the biggest day of this year in Soccer. Bigger than Newcastle's terrible loss to Villa on Sunday that relegated them for the first time in 21 years. Bigger than Barcelona's last game in the Champions in which they sent Chelsea crying in the final ticks in London. Tomorrow's match in Rome will not only decide the European club champion for the 08/09 season, it will most likely reveal the best club team that has ever played. Ever. It is an epic match that will be remembered in history as the face off between the two current top teams in the world and quite possibly the best teams of all time. The Stadio Olimpico will have a pulse never before witnessed in any match of any importance and one mistake on the pitch can prove fatal for either side. There is no doubt in my mind that Barca is the better of the two teams, however, Manchester will be victorious. Discipline, experience, and coaching. Not to mention the injuries and men who will be missed on yellows and red that Barca face. Tomorrow is more than just a duel between England and Spain, Ronaldo and Messi, and SAF and Pep. Tomorrow, the world will celebrate the crowning of the world's best ever club team.

Predictions are useless because its going to be such an unpredictable game, but for the sake of enjoyment and my sheer lust to say "Told ya so" here goes nothing: ManU 2-1 Barca, (Rooney 18) (Messi 34) (Ronaldo 76)...

Enjoy the game,
